English Tenses: Learn Future Perfect Tense and Future Perfect Continuous with Examples

In this Final Class of English Tenses, we will Learn Future Perfect Tense and Future Perfect Continuous Tense with Examples.

What is Future Perfect Tense?

Future Perfect Tense Explains/indicates/Express/Show an Activity which will End in the future with a specific relation to the time.
For Example:
  1. When the John arrives, the Aunty will have left.
  2. When she will marry, I shall have died.
  3. By the time they reach, she will have finished her homework.
The First Portions of the above Sentences shows the Future Simple or Present Simples Tenses while the Second portions show the Future Perfect Tense.
Usually, In the Future Perfect tense, We use the Future simple or Present Simple tense in the first part of the sentence.

 Rules for the Future Perfect Tense:

  1. 'Will have' will be used as a helping verb.
  2. Third Form of the Verb (Past Participle) will be used.
  3. It's Better to use helping verb Shall Have with the Pronouns 'I' and 'We' instead of 'will have'.
  4. Will have will be used with all pronouns & Nouns Except 'I' and 'we'.

Negative Cases:

In Negative Sentences, We Place 'Not' between Will have like this (Will + Not + Have).
For Example:

  1. When he will get Engage, the uncle will not have died.
  2. When the Taylor Arrives, I shall not have died.
  3. By the time we reach, He will not have finished his homework.

Interrogative Case:

'Will/Shall' will be used as the subject of the sentence. The Structure of the sentence will look like this (Will/shall + verb + have + object + ?)
For Example:
Will the Aunty have left?
Will the Uncle have died?
Will the vain have left?
Will the One Direction have performed?

What is Future Perfect Continuous Tense?

Future Perfect Continous Tense means that an activity/Work will start in the future and will remain to continue with a link to the time.
For Example:
  1. She will have been Practicing Yoga since Morning.
  2. They will have Been Performing Hajj for forty Days.
  3. We will have Been Playing the test cricket match for five days.

Rules of Future Perfect Continuous Tense:

  • 'Will have been' Will be used as the Helping verb.
  • 1st form of the Verb + Ing.
  • Use of Since and For.

Negative Sentences:

'Not' will be Placed after the Helping verb will. The sentence will look like this (Subject+ will + not + have been + Verb + ing + Since/for
For Example:
  1. She will not have been practicing Yoga for one week.
  2. We will not have been Performing Hajj for More than a month.
  3. They will not have been Playing the Cricket match for 2 days.

Interrogative Sentences:

Will + Noun/Pronoun {Also the Subject} + have Been + Object + Question mark).
For Example:
  1. Will he have been Practicing Yoga?
  2. Will they Have Been Reading the Future Perfect continuous tense Interrogative Sentences?
  3. Will she have been Dancing and Singing at the Party?
  4. Shall i have Been Singing for half our?
