The Following are some of the main signs of Past Perfect tense.
- HAD as a Helping Verb.
- Third form of the verb
- Represent an activity linked to the Past.
In the Past Perfect Tense, we use had as helping verb with the Past Participle.

In the Past Perfect tense, we use the word, not after the Had (helping verb).
The Verb's third Form will not be affected.

In the interrogative case of past perfect tense, we use the helping verb had as the subject of the sentence while the subject replaces the helping verb.
Past participle (verb's third form) will remain same while the Question mark will be added after the object of the sentence.
